 Looking
to immerse yourself into a National Trust garden for the day whilst
"Day Camping" in the car park? National Trust, English
Heritage and many other tourist attractions welcome painters. Some
rural attractions may even give you permission to overnight on their
property - be sure to obtain permission well in advance.

The combination of Motorhome Aire and Canal Marina came together
again at the Eeklo Aire
de Service in Belgium for us.
Many motorhomers enjoy a
morning walk from their overnight Aire to buy fresh crusty bread or
perhaps a croissant for breakfast from the local boulangerie. A baking factory nearby
creates
smells of oven-baked bread in the morning, which changes during
the day to pastries and cakes in the afternoon!
A handy Aire not far from
the Dutch border and a useful overnight stopover for those venturing
further into Europe.

France is famous for its
frequent motorway and major routes rest areas for drivers called
"Aires".
Whilst Aire
d'Autoroutes are not recommended for overnight motorhome stops,
many are located in beautiful countryside and make
